Everyone that steps foot into my office thinks they are awkward and not photogenic, but I strive to shoot in a way that makes you feel comfortable. After the session most couples say “that was actually really fun.” Then they see their photos and are blown away with how many they love.
I help my couples into poses at the engagement session. Nothing is stiff and mostly you will be interacting with each other in your own little world and I will just be shooting you. Easy right!?
It’s so important to do the engagement session and see the results so we can build a trusting relationship before your wedding day. It gives you a chance to see how I work and then on the wedding day you feel more comfortable in front of the lens.

LOCATION
I like to choose locations based on the look you are going for, but I am open to suggestions. Usually couples will choose 2-3 locationsthat are somewhat close to each other.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half.
PRO TIP
Engagement Sessions are a time for us to hang out, get to know each other and get more comfortable in front of the camera. I suggest doing your engagement session in a different season than your wedding. Mix it up!
WHAT TO WEAR
I recommend color. Bright, fun accessories. Layering pieces. Stripes, polka dots, colors that are not going to blend in with your background. Bring a couple outfit changes. Check pinterest for ideas. Make it your style. Make it fun.
OUTFIT CHANGES
You can change your outfit as many times as you would like as long as it fits in the time span.
