Country Engagement {Michael + Kandus}

I am so happy to be getting warmer weather and getting out for engagement sessions. Kandus invited me to her mother’s family farm in Stewartsville Missouri. It’s always fun to shoot on people’s land because its so different from anywhere in the city. Michael and Kandus are so laid back and fun. We had such a good session, minus the part where I ran over a wire and ripped a piece of my car off. :) I can’t wait for your wedding in September! Enjoy :)

Kansas City Rivermarket Engagement {Luke + Lauren}

These two were adorable! Lauren sent me the cutest outfit choices and I could not wait to see them. These two are so well put together. I loved how Luke was trying to get Lauren to smile naturally by constantly making her laugh and giggle throughout the session. Thank goodness for warmer weather! Enjoy :)

Kansas City Rivermarket Photographer {Todd + Heather}

These two were too fun, and I loved their accents. Visiting from Mississippi, Heather wanted to show Todd everything about Kansas City since she lived her for a couple of years. They started out right but eating BBQ at all the best joints in Kansas City. Married for two years they just wanted to capture some great pictures in Kansas City and I loved how this session turned out. Enjoy :)

What an amazing couple and wedding to end our season with. Despite the freezing cold temperatures Sean and Kristin and their wedding party were great in sticking with me when plans changed. Turned out beautiful and I am so happy for the both of you! Congrats and enjoy! :)

Inspirational Bridal Shoot {Emerald and Gold}

I had a crazy idea to do an inspirational shoot in an old attic. One of our friends live in Waldo area in a really old house with an awesome attic. They agreed to let me shoot up there and so we did. I partnered with Haley Williams with The Yellow Peony. Haley makes custom headpieces, belts, veils and really any bridal accessory you would dream up. She is so talented and for this shoot she made some awesome new pieces to showcase. We went with an emerald and gold theme and wanted a very rich feel to the look of this shoot. It was a full day of hair and makeup and setting up and shooting. My poor model was freezing her tush off because it was so cold up there. After a 9 hour day it was done and totally worth it. Thank you to everyone who participated. I could not of done it without you, and I really appreciate you. Make sure to check out the credits below to see all vendors who participated. Enjoy :)
