Who shoots my wedding?
I am always the main shooter. If your package comes with a second shooter, my second shooter will also be there on your wedding day. The second shooter shoots different angles and sometimes shoots the boys getting ready if its in a different location. There is a chance that I will have a third shooter to carry things.
When do we get our pictures?
Your engagement pictures can take up to 30 days and your wedding pictures can take up to 90 days. Be sure to like Pond Photography on Facebook for a sneak peek of your images. You will get an online viewing gallery and your disc will be mailed to you.
When should I book and how does that work?
Pond Photography typically books 8-12 months out. If you know you want me, book now! A nonrefundable retainer of $1000 is required to secure your wedding date, along with a signed contract. You can choose your package at a later date. We will then schedule and engagement session. Final wedding payment is due two weeks before the wedding.
How many pictures do we get?
I try to average about 100 images an hour. For an 8 hour package you would receive around 800 images. Engagement sessions range from 75-150 images.
What do we do with the disc?
An engagement disc or wedding disc will include high resolution images with printing rights up to an 8×10. You may use the images on the disc for any personal use. You will also receive low resolution images for facebook or any online display.
How do we pick pictures for the album?
After your engagement session and wedding you have the option to come in for a viewing session. We can review images , see samples and I can help you pick out what you would like to order. We can pick out images for the album at this time as well. I will design the album with some of your favorites and pictures I think would fit the design of the book best. You will then get a link to see a preview of your book and you can make comments to change things. After you have approved your album, it will be sent to the printer.
How do we order pictures?
You will get a link to an online viewing gallery where you can order prints. Friends and family can also order prints if you send them this link. The gallery is password protected so remember to send them the password. All print orders are shipped directly to the buyer. You can also order prints through me at your viewing session.
Do you have location suggestions?
Yes, duh! I love location scouting so do not worry. You can pick your locations or I can help you. I have the best time finding new locations for couples, and sometimes they surprise me with a location I have never been to.
